Behind The Razor Wire

$1,842.00

Original mixed media artwork on canvas

When we think of razor wire, our minds go directly to institutions whereby the razor sharp blades are designed to keep people inside.  In other parts of the world, razor wire is a necessity to keep people away.  These are people who may live in dire poverty and will do what they need to do in order to survive and provide for their children.  These children depicted are sitting atop the wall that surrounds the Tchukudu Kids Home in Goma, DR Congo.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this piece will go to help the women and children of DR Congo.
